Registered Nurse – PICU, Phoenix, Arizona.

Start date:

09/28/2026. Contract duration: 26 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,634-$2,756 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 rotating (7:00 am-7:30 pm or 7:00 pm-7:30 am). Setting: hospital-based travel assignment with unit responsibilities across pediatric critical care units. This assignment is managed through Shift Wise Flex; all compliance, billing, and assignment management will be handled by that program.

• Assignment may float among CVICU, NICU, and PICU across Phoenix-area locations
• Assignment managed through Shift Wise Flex with dedicated support

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in PICU, CVICU, and NICU per individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and respond to changes in condition following evidence-based protocols
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage life-support equipment as directed; monitor ventilator care as applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, physicians, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and updates to the plan of care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record; ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
• Promote safety, infection prevention, and high-quality care; respond to emergencies per hospital policy

• Active Arizona RN license or compact-state license with multistate privileges prior to start
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• Advanced NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric critical care;
  Level III or IV NICU hospital experience preferred
• ADN, BSN or Diploma in Nursing; ability to work in a hospital setting and float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 26-week contract with potential extension
• Assignment managed by Shift Wise Flex with compliance, billing, and scheduling support
• Ongoing assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC
