Registered Nurse; RN; Emergency Department

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides specialized, patient-centered care within a high-volume acute care setting.

• Assess, plan, delegate, and exercise independent judgment to deliver safe, effective, and individualized bedside care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise healthcare team members, participate in hourly rounding, and direct patient care activities.
• Evaluate nursing practices for quality, safety, and effectiveness, supporting patient goals.
• Promote efficient patient throughput and workflow in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in Emergency Department or ICU; 2 years preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school and current RN license in Arizona.
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS; PALS, CEN, and TNCC are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, teamwork, and customer service skills are essential.
• Enthusiastic about learning, with a willingness to grow in a supportive environment.
