Registered Nurse; RN; Preoperative

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Preoperative care to provide professional nursing services within an assigned unit.

• Assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, implementing medical and nursing orders, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Providing age-specific, bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient requirements.
• Acting as a supervisor by delegating tasks, evaluating care quality, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Participating in hourly patient rounding and discharging planning.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, and safety needs on admission and throughout care.
• Setting realistic patient outcome goals with input from patients and families.
• Utilizing independent judgment to guide patient care and ensure appropriate interventions.

• Current RN license in the state, CPR, and ACLS certifications as applicable.
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: BSN degree, minimum two years of acute care experience, and specialty certifications.
• Additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, or Wound Care may be required based on department.

Additional duties may include shift supervision, evaluating care effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
