The newly remodeled 2B Intensive Care Unit is comprised of 24 beds at Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC) caring for the highest acuity patients in the facility in addition.

BEMC is a Level 4 Trauma Center servicing Southwest Phoenix and surrounding areas. As an ICU ICU you will be primarily caring for Cardiovascular patients including post Open-Heart Surgery, OR, Cath lab, and IR. In addition, Acute Neurological/Stroke, Medical/Renal, and Pulmonary patients census permitting. Nurses on this unit are given additional training to be able to care for patients on ventilators, vasoactive drips, CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management, IABP, and Impella.

This position is a full-time Night shift, working 3- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. We are currently seeking experienced surgical ICU Nurses but at this time we are accepting application for those that have a critical care background.

*$15,000 sign-on incentive for RN with a minimum of 12 months ICU RN experience; requires a 2 - year commitment. $10,000.00 Sign-on Incentive for RNs with a minimum of 12 months RN Experience; requires a 1 year commitment.
