Registered Nurse - Burn and Wound Clinic

• Deliver Expert Care: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and design personalized care plans tailored to our patients' unique needs.
• Be a Patient Champion: Act as a dedicated advocate and educator, ensuring patients and their families feel heard, supported, and empowered.
• Lead and Inspire: Provide indirect supervision and mentorship to ancillary team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive unit culture.
• Drive Clinical Excellence: Participate in team-building activities and lead quality improvement initiatives to push our professional practice forward.
• Manage with Precision: Efficiently complete and process all clinical documentation in alignment with Valley wise Health policies.

Hourly Pay Rate: $35.52 - $52.39

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.

• Must have at least one (1) year of recent acute care hospital RN experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities; or if completed the New Grad RN program at Valley wise Health then must have at least one (1) year of Valley wise Health experience as a RN and be in good standing.

• Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
• Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
• In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice:
  • Burn Center Clinic:
    Must have ACLS upon hire or transfer. You must obtain PALS within six (6) months. Must obtain ABLS within one (1) year.

• Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g. formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to be able to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer.
• Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
