- Travel Requirement: Must live 50+ miles from the assignment location. Local candidates are not accepted.
Ready for your next Travel RN - PACU assignment in Phoenix, AZ? This is an opportunity for an experienced RN to support a busy Pre-Op/Perianesthesia team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Recent ICU patient experience is required, making this a strong fit for nurses with a critical-care background looking to expand their perioperative experience.
What You’ll Do- Provide safe, comprehensive care to patients preparing for surgical procedures
- Perform preoperative assessments and identify potential patient risks
- Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure patients are clinically prepared for procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient-safety standards
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent ICU patient experience required
- Pre-Op/PACU or perianesthesia experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work required weekends and holidays
- 13-week travel assignment
- 36 hours/week
- Day shift
- Weekend and holiday rotation
