Veterinary Assistant - Ingleside Animal Hospital

At Ingleside Animal Hopsital, you will work in a modern, spacious, AAHA-accredited hospital that takes pride in practicing high-quality medicine and supporting the people who deliver it. You will have access to well-maintained equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, therapeutic laser, and a fully equipped in-house lab. Clinical standards are clearly defined and followed across the hospital, including required surgical bloodwork, IV catheterization and fluids, full dental radiographs, consistent pain management, and radiographs reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
