Veterinary Technician; Part-time

PVRE is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to work in our ICU department. Our team is committed to delivering the highest quality medicine and patient care while providing exceptional client service. • Must have 2 years of ER experience
• Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
• Customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communications skills
• Team player

• Triaging emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital.
• Perform radiographs using proper positioning of patients.
• Have an understanding of normal ranges of patient vital signs.
• Obtain blood pressure and vital signs.
• Be able to initiate CPR
• Properly calculate medical math
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.

Part-time

• 12‑hour shift
• Saturday and Sunday from 7am‑7pm
• Must be able to work holidays

• Veterinary experience:
  Must have 2 years of ER experience
• Preferably with ICU experience

Pay Range $24-$30 USD
