Full-Time Veterinarian | Amethyst Veterinary Clinic

Looking for a veterinary practice where you can actually know your team, your clients, and your patients?

Amethyst Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our privately owned small-animal practice in Chandler, Arizona.

We’re intentionally 100% privately owned—and we plan to stay that way. We’re not a corporate practice, and we’re not looking to become one. We believe in providing excellent medicine while creating a workplace where doctors and team members are valued, supported, and able to build genuine relationships with their clients and patients.

4 days per week—with only 6 Saturday shifts per year.

Our regular schedule is designed around four 10-hour shifts:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• First Saturday of each month: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
• With a full-time doctor joining our team, we plan to expand our current Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule to include Wednesday.
• Only 6 Saturday shifts per year
  , giving you most weekends completely off.
• When you work a Saturday, you will only work three weekdays that week.

And we close for the following holidays every year:

• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day

As a full-time veterinarian, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats
• Perform wellness and preventative care examinations
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients
• Educate clients about preventative care, nutrition, diagnostics, and treatment options
• Build long-term relationships with clients and their pets
• Work closely with our veterinary technicians and support team
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and help us continue to grow as a practice

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active Arizona veterinary license or eligibility for Arizona licensure
• Strong interest in high-quality small-animal medicine
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a small team
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary medicine
• Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine
• A veterinarian who values relationships, teamwork, and work-life balance

• Base salary starting at $125,000 annually, depending on experience, with additional production-based earning potential
