Job Description & How to Apply Below

Phoenix, Arizona

Full-time | $135,000–$140,000, depending on experience

Valet Vet Mobile Veterinary Services is hiring an associate veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine without the pace, noise, and relentless appointment volume of a traditional veterinary hospital.

Each veterinarian is paired with a dedicated veterinary technician for the entire day. Your technician drives the company vehicle between appointments, manages navigation, helps transport and organize equipment, assists with patient restraint and treatments, and keeps the mobile workflow moving.

Our veterinarians generally see six to seven carefully scheduled home visits per day
.

What your day looks like
  • Four-day workweek
  • Six to seven home visits per day
  • Dedicated veterinary technician with you throughout the day
  • Your technician drives the company vehicle
  • Company vehicle, fuel, equipment, and medical supplies provided
  • Appointments are scheduled and routed by our support team
  • Dedicated CSR and operations support
  • AI-assisted SOAP documentation to reduce after-hours charting
  • No crowded waiting room
  • No walk‑ins
  • No nights
  • No on‑call responsibilities
  • No Non‑Competes!

This is still real veterinary medicine. You will see wellness appointments, sick patients, chronic disease cases, senior pets, diagnostic workups, hospice patients, and end‑of‑life appointments.

The difference is that you have the time and support to focus on the patient in front of you.

Comprehensive mobile medicine

Valet Vet is more than a vaccine or convenience service. We provide full‑service veterinary care for dogs and cats in our clients’ homes.

Our team has access to equipment and services including:

  • Digital radiography
  • In‑house laboratory equipment
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Preventive and sick‑patient care
  • Senior and chronic disease management
  • Hospice and in‑home euthanasia
  • Routine soft‑tissue surgery and dentistry

Surgical and dental procedures are performed in our mobile surgical unit—not inside a client’s home. Surgical experience is welcome but is not required. If you prefer not to do surgery, that’s ok too.

Who will enjoy this position

This role may be a strong fit for you if you:

  • Want to practice excellent medicine without seeing 18 to 25 appointments per day
  • Prefer a predictable weekday schedule
  • Enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients
  • Appreciate having a technician dedicated to you rather than shared between several doctors
  • Want autonomy without being left completely on your own
  • Communicate compassionately and clearly
  • Enjoy variety and do not need every day to look exactly the same
  • Value sustainable workload and work‑life balance

Mobile medicine requires flexibility, resourcefulness, and strong communication. It also offers something increasingly rare in veterinary medicine: the ability to slow down, focus on one family at a time, and practice without a waiting room full of increasingly frustrated clients.

Compensation
  • $135,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • 22% Pro Sal compensation
  • Full‑time, four‑day workweek
  • Approximately 32–36 hours per week

Our compensation reflects a lower‑volume practice model built around six to seven home visits per day—not a high‑volume hospital model requiring doctors to see appointments every 15 to 20 minutes.

Our benefits package includes:

  • Medical insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Continuing education allowance
  • Professional licensing and dues support
  • Dedicated technician support
  • Company vehicle and fuel
  • Company‑provided medical equipment
  • AI‑assisted medical documentation

Full benefit details will be provided during the interview process.

Schedule

Valet Vet operates Monday through Friday during daytime business hours.

This position includes:

  • Four scheduled workdays each week
  • One consistent weekday off
  • No overnight shifts
  • No…
