Under the direction of the Supervisor, Landscape – Public Works, the Landscaper, Tribal Government Operations (TGO) will be responsible for general facility and grounds maintenance on the Tribal Reservation as well as other San Manuel properties. While working as a part of a closely-knit team, the primary duty of the Landscaper, TGO will be to perform a variety of semiskilled and skilled work in the maintenance of the enterprise grounds and to do related work as assigned to maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of San Manuel properties.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** 1.  Performs weed abatement, controls fertilization of trees, lawns, flowers, shrubs and hedges.  
2.  Performs landscaping maintenance regularly.  
3.  Cleans and removes debris and waste from the Tribal Reservation & other YSMN Properties  
4.  Cleans and maintains roads and parking lots.  
5.  Operates tractors & other riding equipment. Inspects and ensures that all equipment is in safe operating condition.  
6.  Performs erosion control mitigation including jute netting. Wattles and sandbags.  
7.  Cleans out water drains as needed.  
8.  Detects, identifies and recommends treatment of plant problems.  
9.  Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
** EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
*** High School Diploma or GED required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

(KSA)
*** Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment, and the ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
* Must possess a pleasant attitude and customer service skills.
* Must be able to read, write and communicate efficiently.
** LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
*** At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
* Authorized Driver:
Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
