Terrarium Animal Care Specialist

The Import-Export Peter Hoch GmbH is a successful terrarium company that has been keeping terrarium animals for over 47 years. Our animal facility is unique, comprising over 5,000 terrariums and constantly containing 200-300 different species. Our products are developed and partly produced in-house. They are successfully used by professionals in many zoos and research centres, and we also have simple solutions for beginners and children.

Our employees work and research every day to improve our understanding of animals and to provide products and information for species-appropriate terrarium keeping.

We are looking for animal care staff to support our team as soon as possible.

The activities include, among others:

• Independent care of changing animal areas
• Responsibility for the assigned areas, including hygiene, supply of food and water, notification of sick animals to area management or veterinarian
• Cleaning work (room and animal enclosure)
• Preparation and packaging of animals for sale
• General collaboration in the organisation of the animal department
• Working at weekends and on public holidays is part of the job

• not absolutely necessary, but preferably already some experience with terrarium animals

• Permanent full-time job (part-time on request)
• Performance-related remuneration
• Car park directly in front of the office building
• Well connected by bus & train, approx. 5 minutes on foot (400 m)
• Generally flexible working hours between 8 am and 6 pm.
