The team provides one-on-one grooming services directly at clients’ homes, reducing the stress of traditional salon visits. Each fully equipped mobile grooming van offers personalized care in a clean, comfortable setting tailored to each dog’s needs. Services range from routine baths and breed-specific cuts to puppy, senior, and specialty grooming, with a strong focus on quality, safety, convenience, and compassionate care.

This is a full-time, on-site Animal Groomer role based in Phoenix, AZ, working within Van & Pup’s mobile grooming operations. The Animal Groomer will perform all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-specific cuts, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Daily tasks include assessing each dog’s coat and skin condition, recommending appropriate grooming services, and handling dogs gently and confidently.

The role also involves communicating with pet guardians about grooming needs, scheduling, and aftercare, and ensuring a professional, friendly experience at every visit. The Animal Groomer is expected to maintain grooming equipment, keep the van clean and organized, and follow company protocols for animal welfare and client service.

• Candidates should possess strong Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including safe handling, grooming techniques, and basic health observations.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and explain grooming services and aftercare.
• Candidates should possess a demonstrated commitment to Animal Welfare, ensuring compassionate treatment and stress reduction for every dog.
• Prior professional dog grooming experience or completion of a recognized grooming training program is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment, manage schedules, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Physical ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive a company grooming van.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pet grooming or animal care are a plus.
