Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receiving, Induction Inspections Duties:
Open shipping containers and validates packing slip to product received; perform contract review and interpret customer and flow-down requirements; assign tracking numbers; assign job travelers; verify part count and perform visual inspections; document discrepancies and take corrective actions; work to the production schedule and release components per delivery plan. - In-Process and Outsourcing Inspection Duties:
Perform in-process and outsourcing inspections to meet delivery dates; ensure inspections comply with technical data, customer and specification requirements; audit routing validity; assist production with quality issues; ensure vendors are on the approved list; create purchase orders for spot operations and route components; file incoming/outgoing documentation; review certifications from outside processors; document discrepancies and recommend improvements. - Final Inspection Duties:
Perform final inspections to meet delivery dates; inspect completion of manufacturing processes; measure components with precision devices when needed; document discrepancies and correct non-conformities; ensure compliance to specifications and customer requirements; validate lab results; verify counts and lot control; mark parts and complete required paperwork and certifications; package product per requirements. - General Duties:
Drive quality and process repeatability; implement mistake-proofing methods; collaborate with Quality and Engineering to develop inspection methods; assist disposition of non-conforming product and propose corrective actions; initiate corrective actions when necessary; evaluate reject data and identify training needs; communicate scheduling constraints; train lesser-skilled employees; perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 - 2 years quality experience
- Ability to perform minor inspection checks using precision measuring devices
- Ability to read and apply process specifications, customer and contract requirements
- Ability to read, interpret and understand B/P requirements
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications to comply with regulatory requirements
- Computer skills

Physical:
Bend, reach, sit/stand/walk, push/pull, fine motor skills, ability to lift up to 25 lbs (predominant weights listed). Mental: reading/comprehending, writing, calculations, oral communication, reasoning and analysis. Environmental: exposure to moving machinery, dust/fumes/gases; occasional other conditions as applicable.
The salary range reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate candidates individually to ensure fair pay decisions.
