QC Supervisor

Job Overview

Quality Supervisor will assist the Quality Manager in day‑to‑day QC operations, lead inspectors, improve the Quality Management System and QC manual, and support internal and external audits. The position is salaried and part of the QC leadership team.

• Identify and address quality issues to ensure the highest product quality.
• Collaborate with area leads, production personnel, weld technicians (including robots), and others to report, address, and document quality concerns.
• Read and interpret production details and spool sheets.
• Attend training or meetings necessary for job functions.
• Assist in training new and existing employees.
• Support QC inspectors in managing and maintaining production flow.
• Review, control, and improve floor sheets and the QC manual.
• Help design efficient details and propose design improvements.
• Create a positive, respectful, and productive team atmosphere.
• Participate in QC leadership training and functions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Wear appropriate safety gear and promote a safe work environment.
• Operate Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Perform basic dashboarding and data analysis; AI fluency is plus.
• Assist with the Corrective Action / Preventive Action system.
• Help administer ACC Build and update the QC manual as changes occur (including forms, document changes, and verbiage).
• Work with 3rd‑party inspectors and city/county representatives when required.
• Prepare for all shop and QC manual audits.
• Keep the QC Manager informed of daily changes and updates.
