Receiving, Induction Inspections:
Open shipping containers and validate packing slips; assign tracking numbers and travelers; perform visual inspections; document discrepancies and correct non-conformities; release components per delivery plan;
In-Process and Outsourcing Inspections:
Perform in-process and outsourcing inspections per routing instructions; audit routing; assist production with quality issues; maintain vendor list and processing documentation; create purchase orders for spot operations;
Final Inspection:
Perform final inspections to meet delivery dates; measure components with precision devices as needed; document discrepancies and ensure compliance to specifications; validate lab results and lot control; package product per requirements;
General duties:
Drive quality and process repeatability; implement mistake-proofing methods; work with Quality and Engineering to develop inspection methods; initiate corrective actions; communicate scheduling constraints;
Trains lesser skilled employees
