Test Technician IV
Location:

- Follow and offer suggestions for improving health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment
- Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
- Set up and operate various test stands
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain test equipment
- Interpret and record test results
- Recognize and isolate test equipment failures
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub‑assembly and component level
- Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
- Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
- Work alone and as a member of a team to ensure production and quality goals are met
- Participate in formal and informal continuous‑improvement efforts and projects
Occasional weekend or holiday support may be required. You will be exposed to products of various weights and sizes, equipment with moving parts, high potential voltage and current, and chemicals that may emit fumes. Physical demands include bending, stooping, reaching, turning, and using hands for extended periods while performing testing and troubleshooting tasks. Lifting up to 25lb and transporting product with or without carts is required.
Qualifications- Minimum 4years of relevant experience in electrical or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and schematics
- Prior experience with component‑level troubleshooting
- Working computer skills and knowledge of office software applications
- Electrical Technician Certification (e.g., Certification in Electronics)
