- The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and helping maintain product and process excellence across the organization.
- This role works closely with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to monitor quality performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100
, ISO 9001
, customer, and regulatory requirements. - Perform product, process, and documentation audits to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
- Review First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) investigations using quality tools.
- Evaluate and disposition non-conforming materials (NCM), prepare quality reports, and coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities when required.
- Support supplier quality activities by reviewing incoming inspection results, supplier corrective actions (SCARs), and supplier performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related experience.
- 2–5+ years of quality experience in aerospace, aviation, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing environments.
