Hardware Validation Test Technician

The Hardware Validation Test Technician will execute hands-on environmental, functional, stress, and other physical test plans for body-worn cameras and CEWs. This role includes documenting and reproducing defects, recording test results, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date test cases. The technician will collaborate closely with both on-site and remote Validation Engineers and Product Managers to verify hardware fixes and evaluate new features. Work will take place in a lab environment, where responsibilities include building and maintaining automated test fixtures, configuring test equipment and environmental chambers, and ensuring overall lab organization and readiness.

Skills and Requirements

• 1.5+ years' of any quality test environment
• Familiar with Bug Cases
• Proficient knowledge of electronics/computers (Computer Aptitude)
• Heard of test cases before
• Ability to work through troubleshooting steps
• 1+ years validation/troubleshooting experience with hardware/physical products
