Job Description:
Quality Inspector
Title: Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Engineer
FLSA: Non‑exempt
Location: Mesa, Arizona
SummaryThe Quality Inspector inspects cables to ensure they are built to customer's specs and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conducts visual and measurement tests of products
- Performs inspection of incoming, in‑process and outgoing products
- Performs final inspection of completed cables
- Reviews product specifications to ensure finished cables are compliant to standard
- Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager
- Submit Corrective Actions to correct product/process failures
- Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor
- High School diploma, GED or work experience
- 1 year cable assembly experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to use gauges, calipers, rulers
- Basic math skills, including ability to do calculations and convert fractions
- Ability to use microscope
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Demonstrates keen attention to quality and details
