Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Quality Technician for an onsite, full time, direct hire role.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flex to 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM).

Summary:

We are working directly with the hiring manager on an exclusive search for a Quality Technician with strong experience in electro-mechanical inspection and advanced metrology tools. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, precision-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

* Perform detailed inspections of electro-mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specs and quality standards

* Utilize precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, dial indicators, hard gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances

* Program and operate inspection equipment including CMM, FARO/Hexagon scanning arms, Keyence IM systems, comparators, and surface plates/height gauges

* Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation

* Apply GD&T principles to assess dimensional relationships and identify nonconformances

* Document inspection results and quality issues in accordance with internal processes

* Identify and escalate defects, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions

* Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections across production

* Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product quality

* Ensure proper handling and calibration awareness of inspection equipment
* 5+ years of experience as QC Inspector or Quality Technician with electro-mechanical instruments and components is desired.

* Experience with operating and troubleshooting CMM equipment. Programming of CMM's is a plus.

* Proficient in use of common measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, hard gauges, pin gauges, dial indicators)

* Ability to program or operate inspection lab equipment (CMM, FARO/Hexagon Scanning Arm, Keyence IM, comparator, height gauge/surface plate)

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Thorough understanding of GD&T
