Job Title
Pay Rate: $39.50 per hour, W2 Duration: 12 Month Contract Work Mode:
Onsite
- Hours per week: 40-50
- Shift hours: Phoenix time zone (varies)

Industrial Gas Plant and Semi Conductor Central Utility Plant - Safety Sensitive Position:
Yes - OSHA PPE
Required:
FR clothing, Safety Shoes, Hardhat, Safety Glasses, 4 gas monitor - Driving:
Plant truck (F150 equivalent) for equipment transportation - Lifting:
Up to 50lbs
- Manage and coordinate process and analyzers (GC, GCMS moisture and oxygen analyzer) across sites.
- Perform measurement system analysis, including calibration, Gage R&R (GR&R), and long-term stability studies.
- Manage preventive maintenance (PM), acceptance tests, and critical spare parts inventory for analyzers.
- Manage the inventory, certification, and usage of standard gases to ensure adherence to the calibration schedule.
- Conduct supplier spot check audits regarding analytical equipment and services.
- Execute quality control for incoming (IQC), in-process (IPQC), and outgoing (OQC) stages.
- Monitor operations for compliance with approved quality and safety rules.
- Support site investigations for quality issues on the analyzer.
- Drive the deployment of QC methods and quality tools on-site.
- Utilize statistical methods to monitor process performance and identify trends for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years operating industrial gas analyzers or semiconductor grade chemical analyses.
- Experience in quality control (IQC/IPQC/OQC) within a chemical, industrial gas or semiconductor environment.
- US Navy Engineering Laboratory Technicians are also acceptable.
- Previous experience in highly sensitive fields such as medical grade production, nuclear, or semiconductor production.
- Willingness to provide rotational on-call to support facility.
- Strong hands-on experience with gas chromatographs, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, moisture, and oxygen analyzers.
- Familiarity with total volatile organic compounds analyses and measurement tools.
- Ability to develop and execute troubleshooting plans for complex industrial gas equipment.
- Proficient in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA (GR&R), and root cause analysis.
- Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.
