Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
QA/QC Inspector to support quality assurance and quality control activities for semiconductor, cleanroom, and high-tech facility construction projects.

The QA/QC Inspector will perform field inspections and verify that materials, equipment, installation methods, workmanship, testing activities, and project documentation comply with approved drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans, applicable codes and standards, client requirements, and project quality procedures. The role may support chemical distribution systems, process piping, mechanical and electrical utilities, cleanroom systems, UPW and wastewater systems, tool installation, and related facility infrastructure.

This position works closely with the QA/QC Manager, project managers, engineers, superintendents, field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives. The ideal candidate is organized, observant, comfortable working in active construction environments, and able to document deficiencies clearly and follow corrective actions through final closure.

Key Responsibilities

Field Inspection and Verification

  • Perform receiving, pre-installation, in-process, final, turnover, and closeout inspections in accordance with approved project requirements.
  • Inspect construction materials, equipment, components, installations, and completed work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Verify workmanship, dimensions, routing, alignment, slope, supports, labeling, identification, cleanliness, protection, accessibility, and overall installation quality.
  • Inspect piping, valves, fittings, supports, equipment skids, mechanical systems, electrical installations, utilities, cleanroom systems, and other assigned project scopes.
  • Confirm that materials and components match approved submittals, material certifications, component tags, and project traceability requirements.
  • Witness and document required inspections and tests, which may include pressure tests, leak tests, flushing, cleaning, functional checks, and other project-specific testing activities.
  • Verify that required hold points and witness points are completed and approved before work proceeds.
  • Conduct field walks, identify incomplete or deficient work, and prepare punch-list items for correction.
  • Reinspect corrected or reworked items and confirm compliance before recommending closure.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training, trade education, or an associate degree in construction, engineering technology, quality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Two or more years of QA/QC inspection, construction inspection, field quality, or related experience in industrial, commercial construction, MEP, manufacturing, facility, or infrastructure projects. Semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech construction experience may substitute for a portion of the general experience requirement.
  • Experience conducting field inspections and accurately documenting results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and closeout status.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, isometric drawings, submittals, technical procedures, and project requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans, inspection checklists, Nonconformance Reports, RFIs, method statements, quality plans, and project quality records.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize workmanship concerns, material discrepancies, incomplete work, and documentation gaps.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document-management or construction-management systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, tradespeople, engineers, superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and client representatives.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in active construction, cleanroom, industrial, semiconductor, and high-tech facility environments.
  • Ability to conduct frequent site walks and safely access assigned inspection areas while wearing required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor fabs, clean rooms, chemical distribution systems, process piping, gas systems, DI water, UPW, wastewater treatment, tool installation, MEP systems, or other high-tech facility projects.
