Youwillperformincomingqualityinspectionsonrawmaterials,bulk intermediates,subassemblies,and assemblies,usingmetrologyequipment,handtools,andqualitysystemstoverifyconformancetoestablishedspecifications.

Thishands-onroleiscriticaltoidentifyingissuesearly,maintaininghighqualitystandards,andsupportingreliableproductionoperations.

• Performincomingquality-controlinspectionsonrawmaterials,bulk intermediates,subassemblies,andassembliesinaccordancewithapprovedinspectionplans,specifications,andcontrollimits.
• Conduct visual,dimensional,andfunctionalinspectionsusingmetrologyequipment,handtools,microscopes,andotherinspectioninstruments.
• Interpretinspectionresults,comparefindingsagainstestablishedacceptancecriteria,anddetermineorrecommendwhethermaterialsareappropriateforrelease.
• Documentinspectionresultsaccuratelyinapplicablequalityandprocesssystems,maintainingcompleteandtraceablerecords.
• Identify,document,andescalatenonconformingmaterials,product defects,andinspectiondiscrepanciestoappropriatequalityandmanufacturingstakeholders.
• Verifycalibrationstatusforinspectionandlaboratoryequipmentandsupportequipmentvalidation,maintenance,andcalibrationactivitiesasneeded.
• Evaluatematerialandproductqualitytrendsandsupportproblem-solvingactivitiestoaddressrecurringqualityissues.
• Maintainanorganized,safe,andcompliantinspectionenvironment,includingadherencetosanitation,safety,andqualityprocedures.
• Partner with Quality,Manufacturing,Supply Chain,and Engineeringteamstosupportmaterialdisposition,process improvement,andproductionreadiness.
• Followrequiredpersonalprotectiveequipmentandsafetypracticesinawarehouseandmanufacturingenvironment.

• Associatedegreeorequivalentcombinationofeducation,training,andrelevantquality-inspection experience.
• Experienceperformingquality-controlinspectionsusingmetrologyequipment,handtools,gauges,microscopes,orsimilarmeasurementdevices.
• Abilitytoread,interpret,andapplyspecifications,inspection criteria,control limits,andqualitydocumentation.
• Strongattentiontodetail,sound judgment,documentation discipline,and problem-solving skills.
• Basiccomputerandsoftwareskills,withtheabilitytoenter,maintain,andretrieveinspectiondatainelectronicsystems.
• Abilitytoworkinawarehouseormanufacturingenvironmentandsafelyperformphysicalrequirements,includingprolongedstanding,sitting,bending,usinghandstohandletoolsandmaterials,liftingupto
  25pounds,anddifferentiatingcolors.
• KnowledgeofIPC-A-610and/orIPC/WHMA-A-620standardsispreferred.
• Experienceoperatingacoordinatemeasuringmachine(CMM) is preferred.
