QA Lead, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC, IT QA Tester ​/ Automation

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in API testing, UI testing, and test automation
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Karate and Postman for API testing
, along with Manual UI testing and Playwright automation
. The QA Lead will drive test strategy, automation, defect management, and quality initiatives across the application lifecycle.

• Lead QA activities across functional, integration, regression, API, and UI testing.
• Design and execute API test automation using Karate and perform API validation using Postman
  .
• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright
  .
• Perform manual UI testing to validate functionality, usability, workflows, and business requirements.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation suites.
• Analyze requirements and identify test coverage, risks, and potential quality issues.
• Lead defect identification, investigation, tracking, and resolution with development teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Review test results, identify recurring issues, and drive improvements in test coverage and quality.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Mentor QA engineers and establish best practices for manual and automated testing.
• Provide QA status, defect metrics, test coverage, risks, and release-readiness updates to stakeholders.

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing
  , with experience in a QA Lead or Senior QA role.
• Strong hands-on experience in API testing and automation
  .
• Karate – API test automation and framework development.
• Postman – API validation, collections, environments, scripting, and test execution.
• Playwright – UI test automation and framework development.
• Strong Manual UI Testing experience, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, reusable test components, and test data management.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON/XML, authentication, and API validation

• Experience with Jenkins/Git Hub Actions or other CI/CD tools
  .
• Proficiency with Git and source-control practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong defect management, troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience integrating Karate and Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Experience mentoring QA teams and establishing automation/testing standards.
