Leasing Consultant – The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property.

• Property leasing and administration
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease
• Close sales by generating leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and completing follow-up
• Complete all leasing paperwork before move-in
• Assist with lease audits, walk units, and turn processes
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours
• Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve leasing goals
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed
• Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, monthly newsletter)
• Help with general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model
• Marketing and outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach and conduct market surveys/analyses
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey report
• Customer and resident relations: manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround
• Project a favorable image of the community to meet property objectives and public recognition
• Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

• Regularly move about to accomplish tasks; communicate with others; and perform repetitive motions
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps; may remain in a stationary position for extended periods
• Occasionally move in different positions to work in various environments; able to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.
• Work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed for emergencies; work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions

Compensation and benefits

• Salary Range: $20 per hour to $23 per hour
• Compensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, and certifications
