Responsibilities
The Leasing Agent serves as the company’s primary sales representative for prospective residents, driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building, and lease conversion.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and build rapport with prospective resident needs.
- Present compelling housing solutions and close leases.
- Respond to and follow up on inquiries from prospective residents.
- Engage potential tenants, providing insights into housing options to encourage applications.
- Negotiate lease terms and explain lease documents to new tenants.
- Perform leasing activities in compliance with applicable laws to maximize occupancy.
- Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to guide applicants through the leasing journey.
- Stay informed about company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and current practices.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer‑facing sales experience required.
- Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
- Valid State Real Estate License required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top‑notch customer service.
Hourly pay range: $21.09 to $25.30 per hour. Additional monthly bonus payments may be applicable.
