The Laboratory of Isabelle Schrauwen in the Department of Translational Neurosciences is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to research projects focused on omics-driven approaches for investigating neurological and sensorineural disorders. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines for advanced omics data analysis. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic researcher with strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology to advance our research initiatives and enhance computational methodologies.
Ideal candidates should have a PhD in Biology, Neuroscience, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related field, along with a strong interest in neuroscience, molecular biology, and omics-based research. A computational background with experience in R and Python is required. This position is part of a well-funded research program, offering the opportunity to produce high-impact publications and establish a track record in grant-funded research.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in analyzing next-generation sequencing data, such as genetics, transcriptomics, and epigenetic data
• Comfortable with job submission on a high-computing cluster
• Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Track record of publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals
Salary Range: NIH salary guidelines, Depends on Experience.
