FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at Chartwells School Dining Services K12.

Location:

Pendergast Elementary School District - 3802 North 91st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85037. Online applications accepted only.

• Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions, including entering sales into the cash register and issuing receipts.
• Processes payments, makes change, and accepts various forms of payment.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils and ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures; follows standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service and resolves customer complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Relays relevant information to the supervisor and performs other duties as assigned.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.

• Prior food service experience is preferred/required (as specified by the posting).

• Willing to train, meals provided, uniform provided, and no nights, weekends, or holidays (as applicable).
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour (as posted).
