Floor Manager, Fine-Dining

Come join the team as a Floor Manager with Geordie's Restaurant & Lounge at the gorgeous and historic Wrigley Mansion.

The ideal candidate must be professional, dependable, enthusiastic, and friendly. It is essential to work well under pressure, have previous restaurant management experience, and be dedicated to detail. This position is to assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in accountability for Wrigley Mansion's performance and requires strong organizational and communication skills to drive our commitment to excellent guest service and high-quality dining experiences.

It will be critical to successfully promote and publicize the Wrigley Mansion brand.

Overall responsibilities include team leadership and motivation, financial management, guest satisfaction, and additional administrative tasks:

• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including but not limited to service flow and standards, revenue optimization, and staff development, preferably in a fine-dining or high-end hospitality setting.
• Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction;
  Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
• Experience with Google Suites, Toast Point-of-Sale software, Open Table, and an understanding of inventory control systems (i.e. Restaurant
  365) is a plus

• Organize and supervise shifts ensuring productivity standards are met by all staff members
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of Geordie’s staffing needs. Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
• Open and close Geordie’s restaurant by overseeing and assisting in the set-up and break down of the restaurant operations.
• Experience in Training and developing restaurant staff to ensure consistent service standards.
• Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor.
• Knowledge of food and wine pairings or certification in sommelier practices is a plus.
• Reinforce service knowledge through staff education and trainings.
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory.
• Ability to analyze sales data to enhance revenue, control costs, and cut waste.
• Provide feedback to staff members and coach to maintain service standards.
• Maintain and count monthly bar inventory, partnering with Bar Captain.
• Track compliance with sanitation, safety rules and regulation.
• Able to take direction as well as delegate tasks accordingly.
• Available to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with various tasks and projects as needed.
