What You’ll Do- Follow daily prep lists created by chefs
- Wash, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients for service
- Measure ingredients and seasonings accurately
- Assist with basic cooking tasks including sauces, par-cooking, and simple dishes
- Label, organize, and stock ingredients properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen
- Store food items properly and follow FIFO procedures
- Support the culinary team with additional kitchen duties as needed
- Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Previous prep cook experience preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Comfortable using knives, kitchen tools, and equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a busy kitchen environment
- Culinary school training is a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current Food Handler card
