• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The role consists of two shifts: the morning shift begins with replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant, and the clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift while maintaining the cleanliness of the department.

• Lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as required; visual and auditory requirements apply.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
