Retail Store Manager

$19.00 to $26.48 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus that can constitute a major portion of total yearly income.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day store operations and will promote a positive, productive, customer‑centric environment. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations. The role requires analysis of financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjusting operations accordingly.

The Manager will participate in asset protection, inventory control, marketing, and loan management while maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
• Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time in accordance with federal, state, local law (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
