Job Description Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to lead growth efforts for our roof coatings portfolio across the assigned region. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong distributor relationships, expanding market share, and supporting end users to drive demand through our channel partners. This role requires a self‑starter with strong communication and organizational skills, capable of delivering consistent results while upholding the highest level of customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow distributor accounts
, ensuring exceptional customer service and consistent engagement to strengthen long‑term partnerships.Develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at increasing market share and enhancing product penetration within the territory.
Achieve sales and profit budgets by proactively identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and implementing effective actions to meet or exceed targets.
Drive demand at the end‑user level (contractors, installers, dealers, etc.) by promoting product benefits, supporting jobsite needs, and encouraging purchases through our distributor network.
Identify, pursue, and onboard new strategic accounts that align with regional growth goals.
Provide product education and training to distributors and their sales teams through formal and informal product knowledge (PK) sessions, demos, and hands‑on presentations covering the full Impac & Texrite product portfolio.
Support collections efforts by collaborating with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely payment and address outstanding issues with customers as needed.
Previous sales experience in building materials, roof coatings, construction products, or related industries preferred.
Proven track record of growing a territory, managing distributor relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects and customer interactions effectively.
Willingness to travel within the region.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
