Position:
Named Account Manager – Healthcare

Proofpoint is seeking a self‑starting, highly motivated sales professional to join our Successful and Growing Named Accounts organization. You will target large enterprise accounts in the United States and world‑wide, focusing on the healthcare sector, and will be based in AZ.

Your day-to-day
  • Establish strong relationships at the executive level with CISOs, CIOs, and other C‑level executives while demonstrating advanced solution‑selling capabilities.
  • Conduct sales presentations, coordinate multiple resources within an account, and consistently close business for Proofpoint.
  • Penetrate net‑new accounts and expand our presence with existing customers by introducing them to the full Proofpoint security portfolio.
  • Partner with the channel organization to secure additional market share.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Systems Engineering to prepare account strategies and deliver outstanding product demos and proof‑of‑concept programs to prospects and customers.
  • Achieve and exceed quota.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in enterprise sales to large organizations.
  • Experience selling Enterprise Security or Information Technology products is preferred.
  • Proven, demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate Proofpoint’s value.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise good judgment in resolving difficult issues.
  • Experience with Sales Force or a similar CRM preferred.
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
