Description
Senior Business Development Manager — primary responsibility involves developing and nurturing business relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Focuses on identifying and prioritizing potential opportunities, turning leads into tangible sales prospects, formulating and implementing strategies to win in competitive scenarios, and leading pursuit teams.
- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to grow business and uncover new opportunities.
- Engage with key decision makers at prospective client organizations, focusing on qualifying and prioritizing leads.
- Actively manage leads from initial contact through to the preconstruction phase.
- Create and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to transform leads into concrete sales opportunities.
- Set revenue, profit margin, and market share goals aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- Participate in industry and trade events, representing the company.
- Collaborate with departments such as Marketing and Engineering to coordinate efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven success in construction industry client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking.
- Leadership skills and experience guiding teams.
- Enthusiasm for Clark Pacific’s vision and mission.
- Discretion with confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Clear understanding of design, construction, and acquisition processes.
- History of success in challenging markets.
- Influence at senior levels in various organizations.
- Strong business acumen, both financial and operational.
- Self‑motivated and execution‑oriented in business development.
- Experience in office and manufacturing environments.
- Frequent:
Sitting at a desk, using computers and phones, standing, and walking. - Periodic:
Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements. - Occasional:
Bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- BA/BS in Construction Management, Services, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with Phoenix market, including General Contractors, Owners, Architects, Engineers.
- Knowledge of construction process and delivery methods.
- Competitive compensation, paid weekly.
