Job Description
Our Oncology Sales Specialist is a key member of our customer‑facing organization, responsible for partnering with customers to address identified needs, educating key stakeholders about our leading immunotherapy compound, and communicating our vision to the larger oncology community.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of products and create compelling rationale for value, contrasting and positioning our brand against competitors.
- Act as primary point of contact; meet key customers to understand practice structure, business model, and influencers.
- Possess knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, dosing schedules, clinical trials and their impact on patient care.
- Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment, including drug distribution channels, GPOs, wholesalers and specialty pharmacies.
- Develop short‑ and long‑term account plans with stakeholders and the Customer Team Leader; share best‑practice learnings across accounts.
- Influence across geography or product area by asking strategic questions and positioning our brand.
- Collaborate with the extended customer team (Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive, etc.) to provide a consistent experience.
- Field‑based position covering Phoenix South.
- Candidate must reside within the territory.
- Overnight travel up to 25% of the time; travel requirement varies by location.
- Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years sales experience, or high‑school diploma with 10+ years equivalent experience (professional sales, healthcare, marketing, or military).
- 2+ years oncology field sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Documented strong performance in sales/marketing or oncology clinical role.
- Experience across multiple solid tumors (breast, ovarian, cervical).
- Clear career path: 0–2 years experience → S2 Oncology Sales Representative; 2+ years → S3 Oncology Sales Specialist.
