Position
Molecular Account Executive - Clinical MD
Responsibilities- Promote Roche’s molecular products and services.
- Contact new and existing customers to meet and exceed sales objectives in targeted accounts, developing new business, growing existing business, maintaining relationships and troubleshooting customer problems. This includes identifying and developing strategic account plans, delivering differentiating messages and quantifiable economic value, selling primary differentiation, overcoming objections, and negotiating sales.
- Generate demand and maximize product awareness by educating and providing information to customers.
- Implement strategic initiatives and plans to facilitate the sales process and productivity.
- Prepare proposals for assigned accounts with collaborators; present contract proposals maximizing business and profitability, with negotiation support.
- Conduct territory planning and routing; perform business analysis and planning.
- Communicate competitive market information internally.
- Network and interface with internal colleagues to share information and best practices while engaging in industry/customer organizations that influence business.
This is a field‑based role located in Utah and Northern Arizona. Applicants must live within 50 miles of the territory.
Travel expectation: 50% overnight.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience.
- Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills, including making impactful presentations.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Negotiation, contracting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment.
- Strategic planning and organizational skills.
Salary range: $86,700.00 – $ based on primary location of Utah. Actual pay will be determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location and other job‑related factors permitted by law. You are eligible to earn incentive compensation in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan, and qualify for benefits described at the provided link.
