West Coast Automation is a mechanical contractor that specializes in building automation – providing state-of-the-art HVAC control system, electrical, and A/V solutions to commercial and industrial clients in the Western United States. About This Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and recommending solutions that meet client needs. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and sales acumen to effectively communicate the value of our products and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new leads and follow up on existing opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and contracts to clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales related to Automation, HVAC or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
