- Strategic Business Development & Revenue Growth:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets. - Own and develop assigned territories, customer accounts, and target markets to drive sustainable revenue growth and long‑term customer retention.
- Develop strategic customer relationships with utilities, data centers, industrial facilities, engineering firms, electrical contractors, and energy service companies.
- Expand regional market share through consultative technical sales and customer‑focused solution development.
- Support growth initiatives involving NETA testing, preventative maintenance programs, switch gear services, utility applications, commissioning, and related electrical services.
- Meet or exceed established revenue, margin, and sales growth targets.
- Support strategic account penetration and long‑term customer retention initiatives.
- Market Expansion & Territory Development:
Maintain active presence across assigned territories and customer markets. - Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to support business development efforts.
- Identify emerging opportunities within utilities, renewable energy, industrial power, transmission & distribution, commercial construction, and mission critical/data center environments.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and customer meetings to strengthen market presence.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships focused on trust, responsiveness, service quality, and value delivery. - Serve as a consultative resource to customers regarding technical services and operational solutions.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to identify additional opportunities and proactively resolve concerns.
- Proposal Development & Sales Support:
Lead or coordinate preparation of proposals, quotations, RFQs, RFP responses, and pricing strategies. - Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to support solution development.
- Coordinate with estimating, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure proposals align with operational capabilities and company objectives.
- Support contract review and proposal negotiations in accordance with company policies and approval requirements.
- Sales Operations, Reporting & Forecasting:
Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, customer interactions, and opportunity tracking within CRM platforms. - Monitor sales metrics, market activity, and customer trends to support strategic planning.
- Provide leadership with regular reporting regarding pipeline activity, customer opportunities, and market intelligence.
- Assist with account receivable support and customer issue resolution when necessary.
