Job Summary

Contribute to the success of the organization and sales distribution site by effectively using sales techniques and processes to convert prospective owners into purchasers as well as reload owners. Develop relationships with prospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads. Cater the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each potential owner, and follow through with the sales contract process to ensure all required paperwork and legally required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner efficiently.

Maintain the customer relationship after the sale to ensure continued owner satisfaction and develop future business opportunities.

Experience & Education
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Must maintain an active professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
  • Preferred:
    One‑year related experience.
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Job Specific Tasks
  • Build and maintain a customer base; answer owner questions regarding property use and location amenities, making recommendations based on discovery.
  • Follow up on referrals/leads from owners.
  • Respond to owner requests for pricing, property maps, descriptions, room locations, and portfolio/network information.
  • Contact owners to monitor satisfaction, inform about upcoming promotions, and develop business opportunities such as reloads and referrals.
  • Maintain records of customer contacts to support effective follow‑up.
  • Monitor contract processing to minimize rescission decisions and ensure timely closings.
  • Give sales presentations following the Consultative Sales Process, building trust, discovering needs, customizing presentations, and explaining product features and benefits.
  • Complete and close sales contracts, ensuring all required/legal paperwork is signed and notarized.
  • Prepare for daily appointments (review tour sheet, owner history, presentation details).
  • Follow up face‑to‑face interactions via email, phone, or mail, and facilitate use of Vacation Ownership Advisor.
  • Answer owner and customer queries on product information, servicing issues, financing, maintenance, repairs, and appraisals.
  • Use or coordinate virtual tour (eTour) software for guests.
  • Ensure accurate document processing for sales, including loan applications and financial documents.
  • Work with Sales Management to minimize cancellations and ensure timeliness of closings.
  • Analyze problems and develop strategies to overcome challenges while maintaining quality.
  • Update purchase summary worksheet after each sale.
  • Reach out to Legacy Owners and Every Other Year (EOY) Owners to enroll, upgrade, and maximize reload opportunities.
  • Respond to and monitor resolution of customer and owner inquiries with accurate information.
  • Use resources (e.g., Vacation Ownership Advisors) effectively for customer service.
  • Manage time to attend daily team meetings, training sessions, and appointments.
  • Demonstrate understanding of organizational culture, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations related to sales and marketing (e.g., Do Not Call lists).
