Parkside Tech is a Phoenix-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, Microsoft 365 management, backup services, and infrastructure support to businesses throughout Arizona and beyond.

We are looking for an IT Account Executive to own the customer sales process from initial inquiry through proposal, close, onboarding, and ongoing account growth.

This is not a cold-calling position. The role focuses on inbound opportunities, customer relationship management, proposal follow‑up, and identifying growth opportunities within our existing customer base.

Position Overview

The IT Account Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers seeking IT services.

This role combines sales, account management, customer success, and business development responsibilities. Success requires the ability to understand business needs, communicate technology solutions clearly, and build long‑term customer relationships.

Responsibilities New Business Development
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries
  • Conduct discovery calls with prospective customers
  • Identify customer business and technology needs
  • Develop and present proposals
  • Follow up on open opportunities
  • Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline
  • Coordinate with technical staff during solution design and onboarding
Existing Customer Growth
  • Conduct periodic account reviews
  • Identify opportunities for additional services
  • Recommend cybersecurity improvements
  • Recommend backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Identify infrastructure refresh opportunities
  • Assist customers with technology planning and budgeting
  • Generate project opportunities from existing accounts
  • Maintain records and opportunity tracking
  • Prepare quotes and proposals
  • Track pipeline activity and forecasting
  • Coordinate handoff to service delivery teams
  • Participate in sales and operations meetings

Qualifications Required

  • Comfortable using CRM and quoting systems
  • MSP experience
Preferred
  • IT industry sales experience
