As a Sales Manager, you will develop sales leads and opportunities for advanced battery products within the Americas energy storage market, with the goal of optimizing market share and profit margins. You will investigate market needs for energy storage solutions and propose new or improved products and services to strengthen the company's competitive edge and drive business growth.

You will target customers including major utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), EPCs, and other contractors. You will be responsible for communicating the benefits of the company's products and services to drive sales and serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and prospective or existing clients. This role includes identifying and educating potential customers while supporting existing clients with product and service-related information.

Responsibilities:
  • Present, promote, and sell products and services using compelling value-based sales approaches to existing and prospective customers
  • Plan and execute technical presentations to establish relationships with consultants, engineering firms, EPCs, and FEED contractors serving the power generation, distribution, and industrial markets
  • Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing and prospective customers to identify and address business requirements
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and cold calling
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and performance objectives
  • Coordinate sales activities with internal teams and cross-functional departments
  • Analyze market and territory potential while tracking sales performance and pipeline activity
  • Provide management with reports on customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for new products and services
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and market developments
  • Continuously improve through internal and external feedback
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience as a B2B outside sales representative, preferably within power generation, utilities, renewable energy, or battery energy storage systems
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling technical solutions in a field-based sales environment
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving growth targets and budget objectives
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven sales record
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to diverse audiences
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
