We have an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Manager for the Phoenix, Arizona area. As our TSM is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within an assigned territory by developing relationships with food service operators and key decision‑makers. This is a highly active, field‑based sales role requiring regular in‑person customer visits, prospecting, cold calling, and business development activities.
Whatyou are going to be doing
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Drive successful sales plans by prospecting and generating new business through cold calling, door‑to‑door visits, networking, and referrals.
- Develop new business by identifying customer needs and recommending products that support menu development, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings with food service operators, including restaurants, catering companies, healthcare facilities, schools, and other food service accounts.
- Present products, conduct tastings, and demonstrate value‑added solutions to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators.
- Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, operations, quality, R & D, and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, sales meetings, and customer promotions as needed.
- Responsible for reporting people safety, food safety, or quality observations to their management team and/or area QA for immediate actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in food service, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods.
- Experience working with food service operators.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
