Community Engagement Manager

Connie Health is a fast-growing Medicare brokerage on a mission to empower older Americans to make confident, worry-free Medicare plan decisions. We offer a tech-enabled Medicare navigation platform that combines an AI-driven technology with local Medicare experts to help people select optimal healthcare plans and navigate their benefits. Our culture is mission-driven, collaborative, and innovative, as we strive to transform healthcare through data-driven insights and personalized guidance.

We value Relationships First, Data-Driven decision making, and being Accountable in delivering unbiased, high-quality advice to our members.

At Connie Health, we're revolutionizing the way older Americans navigate Medicare. As we expand into new and existing markets, we're seeking a Community Engagement Manager.

The Community Engagement Manager drives Connie Health's presence and reputation among provider groups and the communities they servethrough events, partnerships, and grassroots outreach. This is a non-licensed role: the manager builds the relationships, plans and executes the events, and generates qualified interest and referrals, then hands beneficiaries to licensed agents for any plan recommendation or enrollment. The goal is to deliver the same outcomes as field sales provider partnership, brand trust, and membership growth by owning the event and engagement engine rather than the sale itself.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events with and for provider groupsin-service sessions, lunch-and-learns, health fairs, and community education events.
  • Own the end-to-end event calendar, logistics, materials, vendor coordination, and on-site management across the assigned market.
  • Develop a repeatable event playbook that maximizes provider participation and beneficiary turnout.
  • Represent Connie Health on-site as the face of the brand at community and provider-hosted events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physician offices, clinics, medical groups, and community organizations to secure event hosting and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnership and sponsorship opportunities that expand Connie Health's local footprint.
  • Serve as a trusted, non-sales point of contact that strengthens provider goodwill toward Connie Health.
  • Generate qualified beneficiary interest and provider-sourced referrals through engagement activities.
  • Coordinate a clean hand-off of interested beneficiaries to licensed Medicare agents for plan guidance and enrollment.
  • Track event volume, attendance, leads, and referral pipeline in the CRM; report on engagement ROI against goals.
  • Partner with field sales and marketing to align event strategy with membership growth targets.
  • Conduct all activities within CMS marketing guidelines for non-licensed staff no plan-specific sales, recommendations, or enrollment.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and company compliance policies in all provider, beneficiary, and event interactions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years in community engagement, event planning, field marketing, outreach, or partnership/relationship management.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events and build relationships with external organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and project-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance meeting state minimums.
  • Self-directed and able to manage a market, calendar, and multiple events independently.
  • Comfortable working evenings/weekends as event schedules require.
  • Experience in healthcare, Medicare, senior services, or a regulated industry.
  • Existing relationships with provider groups or community organizations in the assigned market.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public health, or a related field.
  • Bilingual ability reflective of the local community.
  • Familiarity with CRM and event-management tools.

This is a field-based position requiring up to 70% local, same-day travel within the assigned market to host and attend events at provider offices and community venues. The schedule includes periodic evenings and weekends and follows the Medicare enrollment calendar, with elevated event volume during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct-Dec).

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
