JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a marketing solutions company in search of an Account Executive to join its team! The Account Executive will be responsible for driving expansion into new markets while strengthening relationships with key accounts. In close collaboration with the leadership team, this role will play a pivotal part in generating new revenue and identifying growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings experience in direct marketing, a strong book of business, and a proven track record of selling B2B solutions to agencies, retailers, or buying groups.
This is a ground-floor opportunity within a dynamic, rapidly evolving private equity–backed organization—ideal for someone entrepreneurial, highly self-directed, and motivated to help shape the company’s go-to-market strategy from the inside out.
Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within agencies, buying groups, and retail organizations.
- Conduct outreach and strategic conversations with marketing decision-makers (VP, CMO, etc.).
- Present company’s solutions through in-person meetings, virtual demos, and events.
- Customize consultative pitches based on prospect needs, emphasizing ROI and response optimization through our proprietary technology.
- Work with leadership to develop and refine target verticals and market segments.
- Track and report pipeline activity and forecasting using CRM and related tools.
- Support the onboarding and transition of new clients in collaboration with operations and customer service teams.
- Attend industry trade shows, client summits, and networking events (approx. 20‑30% travel expected).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in marketing, print services or direct mail.
- Strong ability to understand and communicate value propositions around marketing performance, targeting, and response optimization.
- Ability to engage with senior‑level marketing and procurement stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and forecasting.
- $80‑110k + commissions
