About the Role

They are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their commercial team. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities with enterprise clients, working closely with Account Executives to build a strong sales pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in enterprise SaaS sales within a high-growth, innovative sector.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage prospective enterprise clients across the insurance ecosystem (carriers, MGAs, brokers, and embedded partners)
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, phone, Linked In, and events)
  • Research target accounts and build strategic outreach plans
  • Book and qualify meetings for Account Executives, ensuring strong pipeline quality
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams on campaigns and messaging
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline within CRM systems
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product, value proposition, and insurance market trends
  • Consistently meet and exceed activity and pipeline generation targets
Qualifications
  • Experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales development role within SaaS (insurtech, fintech, or enterprise software preferred)
Required Skills
  • Strong interest in building a career in enterprise sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Resilient, proactive, and target-driven mindset
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and articulate value clearly
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Hub Spot) and sales engagement platforms is a plus
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales development role within SaaS (insurtech, fintech, or enterprise software preferred)
Pay range and compensation package
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
