Director of Business Development (IC) – Medical Device Contract Manufacturing (USA)

A fast-growing medical device contract manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to accelerate commercial growth and expand strategic partnerships across the U.S.

This organisation supports leading OEMs with advanced capabilities spanning design & development, tooling, injection moulding, converting, components and full product assembly. Backed by strong investment and a customer-first culture, they are scaling rapidly and seeking a true hunter of sales to join their team.

• Develop and execute national growth strategies targeting medical device, diagnostics, life sciences, and drug delivery markets
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across early-stage programs to full-scale manufacturing
• Build strong relationships with C‑suite leaders, R&D, sourcing, quality, and engineering teams
• Partner closely with internal engineering, operations, and program management to shape customer solutions
• Represent the organisation at industry events, supporting brand visibility and market positioning
• Forecast pipeline, manage key accounts, and contribute to long-term strategic planning

• Strong track record in medical device contract manufacturing
• At least 5 years of sales experience within the industry
• Experience selling complex, multi‑capability manufacturing solutions
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strategic, driven, and comfortable operating in a high‑growth environment
• U.S.
  
  -based with national travel as needed
