As a Business Development Director, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. This position involves full ownership of the sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing agreements. You'll manage prospecting, relationship‑building, and deal execution, while ensuring exceptional service for existing accounts.

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with the company's target customer profile.
• Proactively identify and engage prospects through outreach, networking, and industry channels.
• Manage the entire sales process for self‑generated leads, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
• Develop and sustain long‑term client relationships to support retention, expansion, and ongoing growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
• Maintain full ownership of your book of business, ensuring consistent communication and performance follow‑through.
• Represent the company professionally at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to identify new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the nutraceutical sector.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue and closing deals in nutraceutical manufacturing.
