About the SDR Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be on the front line of business growth — identifying and engaging high-value prospects, qualifying leads, and creating pipeline for Account Executives. You'll work directly with enterprise clients, develop a deep understanding of the sales process, and build the skills that top-performing SDRs use to advance into Account Executive roles within 12–18 months.

This is a full-time role. You'll be embedded at a partner company as a W-2 employee of SV Academy, with daily coaching from our mentors and the partner's own sales leadership. The role begins with two weeks of free evening training — so you can keep your current job until you're ready to make the full transistion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage & Educate
    :
    You'll reach out to potential enterprise clients via phone, cold email, and Linked In — sharing insights about innovative products and driving meaningful conversations with decision-makers.
  • Lead Qualification
    :
    Identify, research, and qualify leads. Schedule high-value discovery meetings with C-suite and senior-level stakeholders for the Account Executive team.
  • Enterprise Engagement
    :
    Build and maintain relationships with enterprise prospects, understand their business needs, and position solutions with relevance and precision
  • Hit Your Targets
    :
    Own your numbers. Hit outreach, conversion, and meeting-booked targets every week — and push yourself to exceed them.
  • Learn the Stack
    :
    Master the full SDR toolkit:
    Salesforce or Hub Spot, Outreach or Salesloft, Zoom Info, Linked In Sales Navigator. Earn your Zoom Info Certification during training.
  • Grow Every Day
    :
    Receive and act on daily feedback from SV Academy mentors and partner sales leadership. The fastest-improving Residents become the strongest full-time hires.

Compensation & Program Structure

The destination: a full-time offer at a partner company with a clear path to six figures in total annual compensation (base + commission), plus full health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits from Day 1 of your full-time role.

Requirements
  • Full-time availability starting Day 11 (the Residency is a full-time role)
  • Available for evening Zoom training sessions during Weeks 1–2 (Mon–Thu 6–9 pm ET)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Passion for sales, technology, and business development
  • College Degree
